A Season of Calm Weather is an in-depth examination of the late 2050s. In the time shortly before the Great Storm, more and more people succumb to the mysterious new disorder that Dr. Swan refers to as hyper-neurostimulation and others call storm-sickness, storm-craziness or electroplague. The story follows Dr. Swan's exploration of the condition and her attempts to treat afflicted patients.
