Oldworld

Emerson Palmer beneath a blue sky. By Kel Winser.

“The old world” is the term most used when referring to the times before G-Day.  For people who lived through the creep and witnessed the vast changes to society and the atmospheric metamorphosis, the “old world” conjures up memories of unlimited gasoline, ubiquitous cell phone and internet use, elections, general good health of the population and, above all, cool spring days and moderate temperatures under blue skies.  Although those times aren’t very long gone in terms of years or decades, it seems only fitting to describe it as a different world.
