Stingray HSX2 by Matt Ragen.

Although Thayer Corp provides adequate public transportation, home-built personal vehicles are common.  Most are powered by versatile sols and the majority use the tried-and-true combination of amplifier coil and a T-cell battery.  Creation of custom vehicles has become a very popular hobby among those lucky few with the means and resources. Nearly everyone during the green sky era has some experience as mechanic and the roads are filled with one-of-a-kind vehicles. An abundance of materials left from the times before G-Day has led to a blossoming of creativity and society is now an ocean of diverse machines. These unique vehicles are commonly based on remodeled fossils collected from the old world, although completely new designs are not unheard of.
